OBI Seeks Seasoned Leader to be First President/CEO

Oregon Business and Industry (OBI), created by the merger of Associated Oregon Industries and Oregon Business Association, is seeking a President and CEO to lead the state’s largest statewide general business association as it seeks to strengthen Oregon’s economy to achieve a healthy, prosperous, and competitive Oregon for the benefit of present and future generations.

The OBI Board has engaged the consulting firm MS&S Search and intends to have a President and CEO in place during the Fall 2017. MS&S Search, who is now generating and screening a pool of qualified candidates, will accept applications for this unique leadership role until August 4, 2017. OBI is looking for a seasoned leader and manager who understands Oregon’s political landscape, communicates effectively with broad constituencies, and has the skills to influence the state to improve Oregonians’ economic well-being.
